This Louis Quatorze mirror is elaborately decorate

This Louis Quatorze mirror is elaborately decorated with grapevines and grapes, which are draped around the mirror, and bows with tassels in the bottom two corners. The mirror is topped with two putti holding a crown over a coat of arms. This coat of arms belongs to the family Kien from Zeeland, the Netherlands. One member of the family was Cornelis Kien (1640-1709), he was between 1665 and 1688 mayor of Veere, Zeeland and governor of the V.O.C. (Dutch East India Company), just like his father before him.

Groupe d'Egyptienne et Française dans la rue au Caire by Kees van Dongen.

Kees van Dongen (26 January 1877 – 28 May 1968) was a Dutch-French painter who was one of the leading Fauves. He is known for his vibrant paintings and prints of almond-eyed women and bourgeois leisure scenes.

This watercolor has a handwritten certificate on the back from his wife dated 28 October 1986:
"Je certifie que le dessin au fusain et aquarelle mesurant 21 x 26 cm représentant "groupe d'Egyptienne et française dans la rue au Caire" executé vers 1928 signee en bas a droîte represente sur cette photographie est une oeuvre authentique de mon mari"
